POSITION PROFILE
The Jr. Financial Analyst will work to support Current Global’s US Finance team by managing the Accounts Payable process as well as assisting account and finance teams in financial reporting.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable
- Vendor management – oversee and track the status of vendor setups.
- Train account staff on our internal vendor management platform and complete risk assessments
- Process purchase orders and rush requests, ensuring accurate job and billing codes.
- Keep accurate record of vendor contracts.
- Verify and resolve any variances between invoiced and purchase orders.
- Liaise with Omaha payment center regarding vendor payments/invoice processing.
- Monitor and maintain open purchase order items.
- Follow-up with vendors/staff if there are outstanding invoices.
- Resolve issues with the parked invoices.
- Expense report support.
Financial Analysis
- Run various time reports for staff and team i.e. Utilization and Burn Reports.
- Assist in management of accounts receivables.
- Assist account and finance teams with project and client budget tracking.
- Train and support account staff on time, expense, and PO entry.
- Analyze time data for accuracy as well as performing time transfers as needed.
- Prepare and run any ad-hoc reports as necessary.
Operational Responsibilities
- Work effectively within SAP environment.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as directed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, one or more years related experience and/or training.
- 0-2 years of experience in Finance / Accounting.
- 0-2 years Accounts Payables experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically in the preparation of spreadsheets in Excel .
