EVP, Client Experience, Corporate Communications

About the job duties:
As a key member of the Weber Shandwick South Korea Executive Committee & Leadership team, the EVP, Client Experience, Corporate, will report directly to the Managing Director, South Korea and assume a senior, strategic role, ensuring long-term revenue growth within the practice and agency.
Working with the Global and Regional Corporate Communications community, we are seeking a senior-level business leader to run the Corporate Communications Practice in Seoul, working with our key MNC and large-scale international clients.
- The successful candidate will concentrate on driving new and existing business within Corporate Affairs & Communications providing strategic counsel to our largest clients
- Serve as experienced new business pitch lead with a positive win rate, actively guiding and developing team members to produce brave work, that has data and creativity at the centre
- Set and shepherd vision for proactive business growth, global client expansion and innovation of work with all clients, working closely with our ‘Asia Go Global team’ specializing in global client development & activity oversees
- Proactively counsel senior clients, relative to changing business environment and how we can help them navigate a fast-moving and changing world
- Shape the vision for talent evolution across teams within the Corporate practice and group as part of the wider executive committee and leadership team
- Effectively navigate global firm resources to bring the optimal mix to grow/deepen client engagements, working closely with senior colleagues from the Asia Pacific region and global WS locations
- Be a change agent and agitator for what’s new and next in corporate communications
- Provide leadership and development to all senior corporate communications reporting lines and staff
- Responsible for managing the overall profitability of accounts/projects
- Managing over servicing on accounts to ensure profitability and efficiency
- Set annual revenue targets and manage team budget/forecast
- Ensure a strong new business pipeline
- Proactively pursue organic and new business opportunities leveraging cross-function and cross-geographic collaboration
Skills and Experience:
- At least 15+ years of experience, including large-agency brand and digital experience
- Experience in engaging across departments and specialisms within one organisation to build strong working relationships.
- Experience lead of successful pitch teams
- Experience in developing thought leadership content, sometimes with third parties, and developing launch and outreach plans
- Experience in dealing with both trade and national media on prepared stories and commentary opportunities
- Creative and international mindset
- Attention to detail and design
- Excellent networker, able to make connections with people across the business and externally with clients
- Enthusiastic, professional and highly pro-active
- Collaborative executive team player
