Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day client management to build strong client relationships, confidence and trust
- Lead/manage multiple integrated communications programs and be seen as a strategic leader by clients
- Contribute to the development of strategy and tactical plans as well as cross-community implementation activities for marketing communications and PR plans for client brands and projects
- Produce high quality, client-ready work, including but not limited to communications strategies and plans, proposals, media and influencer engagement tactics, press releases, backgrounders, feature articles, reports, etc.
- Lead the production of trend-led and/or client brand-centric content (videos, op-eds, feature articles, infographics etc.)
- Keep apprised of clients’ brands/products/services/marketing and industry developments – their key issues, competitive situation and industry trends
- Successfully manage client expectations by ensuring adherence to timelines, budget and quality standards
- Facilitate cross functional team integration by working closely with team members a variety of functional groups – client experience, creative, data & analytics, planning etc.
- Contribute to the development of new business proposals and presentations
- Lead and participate in client meetings
- Mentor and train junior team members
Requirements
- Open to cross practice / industry work
- 7-10 years of experience working in an agency (or similar) environment
- Seasoned media relations skills (across both local and international media)
- Excellent writer and communicator
- Strategic thinking and planning skills with the ability to solve business problems through innovative communications solutions
- Experience in managing integrated communications and community engagement campaigns
- Proven project management experience, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering high quality work that meet client objectives
- Experience in managing a team and a good team player
- Experience in aviation and energy industries, as well as crisis communications is a plus
